They are designed to meet Australian Standards (AS/NZS: 1428) and Building Codes of Australia.

TACTILE HANDRAIL STEP INDICATORS
Tactile handrail step indicators are located on the top 3 and bottom 3 steps of a flight of stairs.
Manufactured from 316 stainless steel these flat self adhesive indicators 50mm x 25mm will fit virtually any handrail whether flat or round.
The indicators when placed gives confirmation to blind or partially sighted persons of the amount of steps remaining.
On fire exits the indicators our particularly helpful for safety reasons.
